Aside from possessing rich domain expertise in theoretical and practical wine knowledge his methodical and patient approach is integral for wine students of all ages and cultural backgrounds. What distinguishes Matt from other teachers is there is no standard approach, he takes an active interest in the personal development of each student and goes above and beyond to help them achieve their own goals. It has been a pleasure knowing Matt, I have benefited from his kind counsel throughout the years as a newcomer to the industry looking to build a second career with no wine knowledge to a Stage 2 MW student.
